Website Design, Flash XML Design, James Ellerker Photography

This website is controlled using XML so that James can add galleries and images to those galleries simply by editing one XML text file. Although not currently in use, this application can support unlimited galleries (and the interface will scroll where necessary) and each gallery can support unlimited images. Each image can contain a caption, again in the XML file.

Additionally the application is supplemented with a wordpress blog so that each piece of new work can be added along with keywords etc … for enhanced SEO visability.

I shall shortly be revamping my NXMD web design site to accomodate this sort of work, as I work mainly with photography portfolio related sites.

Bafta award winning film maker Peter Norrey has worked in television for over fifteen years, including early work on dramas such as ‘The Borrowers’ and his first full editing role on the infamous “Keith Floyd in South Africa’. His range of work and clients has developed in diversity from political documentaries to landmark arts series, feature length drama documentaries to award winning factual series.

This website uses the WordPress structure with a custom built theme, and uses Quicktime and Flash elements to display clips from Peter’s showreel. In addition to the portfolio, the site uses the WordPress blogging function so that he can add new clips as appropriate, plus the ability to edit his profile, cv and client list easily via the WordPress admin panel.

Website Design, Storme Sabine, WordPress CMS

A custom built template using the WordPress CMS system. This site is still a work in progress, but will allow Storme to upload new images and edit all the content on the site as well as some nifty little XML-Flash galleries for portfolio and client presentations.

I will be honest and say that there have been issues in Internet Explorer 6 and below – but I am ironing these out – Internet Explorer is rubbish – FACT (as David Brent might say).
