I cleaned this image up and removed the original background and then put in a couple of illustrative elements, this is definitely the sort of direction I would like to be going in terms of mixing photography and illustration/design – i hope to add some more stuff shortly.

An oldie but a goodie, I was pretty pleased with the results, the logo of the magazine was transferred from illustrator onto a suitable brushed metal surface (i could not use the original textures from the Mac laptop button). This was distorted to fit the perspective and I then used this to create multiple channels which were used to create the bevelling and ‘lip’ effects and the whole thing was finished off with some lens blurs for realistic depth of field. This was part of a series for Pokerstars for a design company called Astro Man Corps.

In all the shots, the figures were cut out using an accurate set of paths, clothing details removed and ‘lighting’ was painted around the figure to enhance the impact of the shot

Several shots were used to create duplicate tables, the lights were erased – you probably cant see all the details at this size, but there were a lot of people added and removed

Photographic retouching for Lux Photodigital, product photography for Bosch.

In this series of images, very close attention was used to erase the various shadows and highlights cast during shooting, all surfaces were flawlessly cleaned, all products were pathed around where necessary and all the LED readouts were recreated using masks created and enhanced from the original shoots.

in all cases, Lux photograph 4 or 5 versions of each set with different lighting and exposures and then amalgamate all of these in postproduction so that all teh features of each product are clearly visable
