Executive Action Web Update, Executive Coaching, Development, Career Transition and Outplacement services

Executive Acction, Executive Coaching, Development, Career Transition and Outplacement services

I am looking at the website with the aim of increasing traffic using a combination of SEO and SEM techniques, which I am offering as an ongoing service to clients.

see the site at http://www.executive-action.com

Search Engine Optimisation is a process of making your web pages more ‘tasty’ to search engines by using semantic XHTML/CSS, maximising textual content and increasing page numbers and using relevant keyword analysis and deployment throughout the site. I generally use Wordpress which allows clients to add new pages and blog/press releases and if necessary they can contact me to try and better organise the posts.

In addition, Search Engine Marketing techniques will hopefully drive traffic to your site, techniques like releasing press releases and news feeds on third party sites, posting on relevant forums and social networks all help to make a difference.

What ‘works’ is hard to define exactly, but rule of thumb – create a site that is useful to readers and users, make sure you have lots of text content and that is a good start …

Wordpress Blog Design, Stuart Hendry Photographer

Stuart Hendry Photographer - Blog

I recently installed a Wordpress blog onto Stuart’s site, which will now effectively be a news section to current projects as well as listing people he is collaborating with. Wordpress is a content management system I am increasingly integrating into peoples sites as it is extremely user friendly and easy to use, and has a shallow learning curve, which is always important for users. It is also extremely flexible with the plethora of plugins and widgets available from the Wordpress.org developers site, to allow you to design a rich user experience.

Take a look at Stuart Hendry Photographer Blog or at his main website Stuart Hendry Photography.
