An oldie but a goodie, I was pretty pleased with the results, the logo of the magazine was transferred from illustrator onto a suitable brushed metal surface (i could not use the original textures from the Mac laptop button). This was distorted to fit the perspective and I then used this to create multiple channels which were used to create the bevelling and ‘lip’ effects and the whole thing was finished off with some lens blurs for realistic depth of field.
